#WKND Chop it up with Grammy Nominated Aftermath Entertainment producer, DJ Silk
Our host Chago Williams recently had the chance to sit down with the Grammy Nominated Aftermath Entertainment producer, “DJ Silk” to talk about a mix of things, from his inside scoop on the N.W.A. Movie biopic to his favourite producer and rapper in the game right now.
Last year, Silk was nominated for a Grammy Award for his work on Dr. Dre’s “Compton” album, going up against artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Nicki Minaj and more.
We were also able to ask him about his upcoming projects, what is in the works for the future and what we can expect to hear him on.
Being close to the legendary Dr. Dre gave us the perfect opportunity to get the inside scoop on his opinions about the N.W.A. movie, from whom was cast to play the different characters and how certain elements of the film were portrayed in comparison to what happened in real life.
Of course, it only seemed natural this prolific producer’s thoughts on who the best rapper is out at the moment and who he would like to work with in the future.

Have u ever been in contact with the legendary Eazy E?
Everyone says little Eazy looks so much like him but i dont agree yes he has his body but he favors his mother in the face but EB here is Eazys twin
6:47 damn he hates ive cube & his success.. he mad as hell at Brian Turner and Jimmy iovine and all those guys
JerryTheJew ... Right on
She. Just. Like. Her. Father. That. Hat. Glass. That. Scared. Cazy
Eu amo esse senhor ajudo muito eazy e a crescer mais Uma maldade que fizeram com ele no filme
EAZY E daughter with one of her dad's killer 😂 art of war is something else.
OMG I thought it was eazy e fo a second. I like this white MF
I can tell you this, Jerry Heller prayed to be able to help black artists come up before he met Eazy E, who was the answer to his prayer. Eazy E prayed at many points on his path too, thats how he found BG Knoccout and Dresta. Nothing this good and this influential happens without an appeal to God. These are holy soldiers on a mission.
HAHA! Heller said in reference to No Vaseline "that's probably the most antisemetic song that's ever been written". Could he be anymore melodramatic? It wasn't that bad.
I'm worth more money than Easy E's daughter. ROFL.
Jerry Heller was naive towards Ice Cube!
Heck what u herd jerry heller deserved flowers before he was gone he made alout of people rich rip jerry

Late comment, but when I saw SOOC. I didn't really care to re-watch it neither, because Hollywood changes people. It's all about money. They forget about the actual depictions of characters.
March 3 on my birthday
Jerry Heller is one of them guys you just can't trust!!! He is not a co-founder of Ruthless Records, fact!!! Eazy had already rented the studio space and had Cube and Dre in there working on material!! Eazy paid thousands straight up to start that!!! Jerry never came into the picture till E was smart enough to know that they had something big, and needed manager and guidance so they could get record play and their material out there!!! Fuck Jerry, E made you!!!@
I don't blame Ice Cube for leaving Ruthless Records. He was the first smartest one to do so. What does E's daughter know? She was just a young child at the time. She doesn't know that Jerry have been manipulating her. Her mother knows way more than her.
Her mother also likes Jerry and defends him. He was like a grandpa to her growing up and did more for her than Cube or Dre ever did. Say what you want about Jerry but he was there for E and his family even in death.
Too. Much. Bullshit
Not sure why she was even there didn’t say one word just looked at the camera
RIP Marty Thomas and Eazy
Alot of people are saying that cube and dre were dirty for the n.w.a bio pic. Hear is my opinion on the whole matter. And again just my opinion. Cube has a degree in business. He saw what jerry was doing. Dre even admited later that cube was right. I think eazy didnt know the businees as well as he thought and jerry saw that and took advantage of it. No disrespect to eazy at all. But cube saw it and tried to tell all of them.
Cube has a degree in architectural drafting, not business. However you're right that Cube figured out they were being scammed first. Once Dre had Suge in his ear, that's when he got smart. Eazy had to almost go broke until his wife figured it out. Managers taming advantage of clients is very common in the music industry. Aerosmiths original 2 managers get FIFTY percent of all royalties generated from their work from 1973-82 to this day
It’s good to never be content ... good for ice cube ...
She to young to no bout eazy her daddy this girl just wont clout all them kids going by what they heard .
Ice cube had to have known something wasn't right to walk away from $75,000 like he did. He was still living at his moms when he was 21. Somebody wasn't paying him right.
Think about it. Every platinum album making band, even one hit wonders, got rich off their album. Ice Cube was making peanuts and was given 75 grand as a bonus...good on him for knowing his worth.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bro I wonder where his kings hat and raiders hats went
Wow his handwriting was perfect. Heard he was extremely intelligent not just business wise.
SO ICE CUBE RAPPING "YOU LET A JEW BREAK UP MY CREW" ON NO VASELINE IS ANTISEMETIC? GTFOH. HE'S JEWISH RIGHT OR A JEW? GTFOH. I COULD SEE IF HE CALLED HIM A KIKE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT BY THE WAY THE REAL JEWS ARE BLACK BUT I DIGRESS.
Jerry hell er
Marty would have definatly done bigger productions as time went on if eazy was alive I think even movies now imagine what the nwa movie would have been like if eazy directed it it woulda been night and day eazy would have still been the voice thru his maturity an positive energy down the line he would have really done some great things for l.a. I’m still wondering when are they gunna put up a statue for him in Compton if those guys really loved Eric they make it happen
If Eazy and Marty were still here that would be the best idea for sure!! i think those 2 making the NWA movie would be way more authentic and capture the vibe of the era.. not the sanitized version dre and cube put out
Dang... Girl got her dads face and attitude. RIP Eazy
Eazy-ECPT now is www.EazyEforum.com
I just don’t understand why in every interview EB have to be in it like she’s the only child like out of all people they always have to choose EB
Rip eazy e

Wow EZ twin. Heller is a legend, the good with the bad.
This guy died still mad about Icecube no Vaseline diss song. lol
This Jerry guy was a co founder of ruthless record or manager of NWA confused
WOOW SHE LOOKS LIKE HER DAD DO YOUR THING WITH YOUR DADS LEGACY RIP ERIC WRIGHT
I bet if Eazy-E knew that his wife is a Gold Digger and was lying to him about Jerry stealing so she has the power over the money after his death he would've never leaved Jerry. It's disgusting when you think about it... Eazy married her so she can take care of his money so everyone get his piece but after his death she paid NO ONE! Here is Jerry Heller still helping Eazy's kids.... This man really cared for Eric and N.W.A. no matter what you say. He took the same money from every rockstar he managed... that's business ice cube and dr.dre had no clue about.
Facts
Eazy had some nice handwriting
RIP Marty!
My husband and he doesn't even know it😂😂😂
